Accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior is the most important decision you will ever make — not just for this life, but for eternity. But let’s be clear: reading a prayer isn’t enough. Reciting words doesn’t save your soul — faith in Jesus and surrendering your life to Him does.

Let me put it this way: imagine a chair. You can believe it will support your weight, but unless you actually sit down, that belief is just theory. The same goes for faith in Christ. You can agree that God is real and that Jesus died for sins — but until you place your whole life in His hands, you haven’t truly acted on that belief.

I want to share with you the protection and constant guidance of the magnificent God I’ve been praying to, leaning on, and writing about. I want you to join me in Heaven when this story ends — rejoicing at His right hand. I want you to have the peace of knowing that your soul belongs to the only One who can truly save it.

But only you can make that decision. Not me. Not your parents. Not your pastor. Just you.

Turning my life over to Christ as an adult — when I fully understood the weight of the decision — was the best thing I’ve ever done. My life hasn’t been perfect, but God’s blessings have poured in, far beyond what I ever deserved. And though I don’t know every step ahead, I do know how the story ends — in victory, in joy, and in eternal life with Him.
